Learning about the life and teachings of Jesus can be fun and make a difference in a child’s life. That’s what we’re doing with our children’s programs here at First Christian Church.
A special junior worship program for children in pre-school to fourth grade is held during regular Sunday worship services.
A deeper exploration of faith and fun happens on the first Sunday of every month for all elementary children from 3 to 5 p.m. Kingdom Kidz has a club-like atmosphere that combines exploration, play and learning geared for young children.
Junior Worship
This program is offered during regular worship times for children ages 4-9. Our full time youth and children’s minister Bev Brock offers engaging lessons through crafts, prayer, activities, puppets and more!
VBS
We offer a week long Vacation Bible School program every June!
We celebrate God’s love with dozens of children through games, Bible adventure, music, crafts, videos and snacks! It is an adventure you don’t want to miss!
Nursery
Parents can feel assured that their children will receive quality care in First Christian’s nursery. Trained staff work each week to care for and teach the very early education of children. Child care is provided for Sunday school, worship and for most church activities and Bible studies.
